  • Medium: Watercolor on paper
  • Shapes and objects: A mountainous landscape with a winding road, trees, and a tall white building (possibly a tower or lighthouse). The foreground features a sloping hillside with vegetation.
  • Colours: Vibrant blue for the sky, various shades of green and brown for vegetation and earth, grey for the mountains, white for the building.
  • Narrative: This painting captures the dynamic interplay between natural and man-made elements in a mountainous landscape. The winding road and tall white structure suggest human presence in an otherwise wild setting. The composition leads the eye from the detailed foreground, through the middle ground with its trees and road, to the dramatic mountains and sky in the background. There's a sense of journey and discovery, with the road inviting exploration into this beautiful, rugged terrain.
  • Original Artist: This style of landscape painting with its vibrant colors and loose, expressive brushwork is reminiscent of the work of Cézanne, particularly his paintings of Mont Sainte-Victoire. While Fahimi's style is distinct, there's a similar interest in capturing the essence of a landscape through color and form. Cézanne's works can be found in major museums worldwide, including the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
